I have provided seminars and workshops for economic
development groups, chambers of commerce, universities, colleges and business
groups of all kinds. I have produced over 40 promotional videos, for Hotels
to Whale watching companies to small towns trying to foster new industry.
Working together with my clients the videos we have produced have all
generated a significant increases in their businesses.
After 9/11 many tourism based businesses were hurting. My
video for The Ramada Inns helped to bring back the percentages that had
been lost. The moving images of Blossoms, nice weather, good air and lay
back lifestyle of Victoria B.C. all utilized the power of visual selling
to generate emotions that could not be felt through any other medium of
advertising.
A small forest industry based town began to die after
the mill closed down. The townspeople came up with the idea of painting
giant murals on their buildings capturing the bygone history of the town.
My video showing this town’s history generated new revenue from
tourists wanting to take a piece of this success story home with them.
A struggling though well organized metal manufacturing company
wanted buyers across the country to recognize that they could
compete on the bigger end contracts. The sales force had little to convince
clients until the video. Now for the first time buyers are aware of the
great work being turned out by this company.
